Volunteers from the greater Chicago area met in our new Obama HQ on Tuesday for a grassroots planning session with Valerie Jarrett, senior adviser to the President. The room buzzed as supporters discussed their plans and visions for the 2012 campaign with Ms. Jarrett, sharing best practices and the challenges they face organizing in their communities.
Jerry D. from Oak Park in Illinois, said: “The people here today are from all over the place, geographically and philosophically. But we are all here for the President.”
Grassroots planning sessions are happening all over the country, and we're asking supporters like you for input on how to build for the 2012 election. RSVP now to find an event in your community.
