"We expect a lot out of you because you are capable of a lot.”

At Renaissance High School in Detroit, after getting introduced by Flint's Olympic gold medalist boxer Claressa Shields, Vice President Joe Biden fired up more than 1,000 supporters.

"We expect a lot out of you because you are capable of a lot.”

Supporters came from all over the Metro Detroit region to show their support and share why they're working for the President and Vice President.

"It's important that everyone - young and old - understand the importance of voting and getting involved. I'll be knocking on doors for the President." - Brenda, Ferndale

"It's change that's happened. We believe in it and it's happened." - Branden, Ann Arbor

"I'm going to do everything I can to get them back in office, every day until Election Day. The speech was awesome and I was honored to be here. I even got to shake Joe Biden's hand! I have 32 years at Chrysler -- they saved the company and my pension. That's why I'm in." - Joanne, a volunteer from Southfield
