Since President Obama took office, the United States has experienced thirty-one straight months of job growth.
There’s still a lot to be done, but we’re on the right track here in Minnesota. Since February of 2010, Minnesota employers have added 17,000 manufacturing jobs. We’re a big part of the reason why, for the first time since 2007, the United States has actually started creating manufacturing jobs.
Because of tax-credits for small businesses, projects funded by the Recovery Act, and other efforts by the President to create new jobs, over 81,000 Minnesotans have returned to work since February 2010. Nearly 20,000 of those new jobs where in communities throughout Greater Minnesota.
From putting more cops on the street in St. Paul to installing broadband on the Iron Range, President Obama’s policies are putting Minnesotans back to work and making critical investments to keep our communities safe and strong for years to come. It’s another reason why Minnesotans are supporting President Obama this year.
