• OFA volunteers petition to protect our environment

For the first time ever, we have a chance to limit carbon pollution from our country's biggest polluters.

The Environmental Protection Agency is taking a big step forward in preventing carbon pollution—and OFA volunteers are there building support in the fight against climate change.

In a nationwide Day of Action, supporters spread the word about the EPA's plan and collected signatures to show the EPA that Americans support these new standards.

Key Biscayne, Florida—At Virginia Key Beach Park, just off the coast of Florida, they take climate change seriously. OFA-Florida volunteers collected more than 100 signatures.

New York, New York—OFA Fellows at Columbia University canvassed the campus, then attended Professor Joseph Robertson's lecture on "Building A Green Economy."

    Tempe, Arizona
—OFA-AZ supporters collected signatures at Tempe Beach Park.

Alexandria, Virginia—OFA-VA gathered in Market Square to collect petitions.

Dallas, Texas—Volunteers roamed Dallas's Greenville neighborhood to collect nearly 100 new signatures.
