Last week we posed a question from our twitter account:
One of our neighborhood team members, Ron F. saw that tweet and this was his response:
A tweet on @OFA_NC yesterday asked people to say how they have been affected by health care reform. I have a 24-year-old daughter, who probably would not have health insurance today were it not for health care reform. The provision allowing parents to carry their children on their insurance until age 26 is a life saver for many people this age. Kids just out of college who are finding it so difficult to find jobs simply can't afford health insurance at the rates that insurance companies want to charge them. Thank you, President Obama, for your work to get this passed. It was needlessly difficult, but your persistence paid off.
