The polls are in: 91% of all viewers watching President Obama’s State of the Union address on January 24th approved of both his overall message and his proposals to move the country forward.
Among those who watched on Tuesday evening was a group of supporters gathered at the home of long-time OFA volunteers, Karen and B.J. in St. Louis’s historic Central West End. Attendees included both seasoned and future campaign volunteers who all agreed the President’s speech left them energized and enthusiastic to take the next steps to help re-elect the President.
“What a great way to engage with other supporters,” remarked Cathy T. “I loved watching the President’s energizing speech with great company as well as delicious homemade snacks!”
Michael L. commented, “After hearing President Obama’s plan for America as well as the Republican response, I’m even more determined and committed to support the President’s campaign in any way possible.”
