When I registered to vote for the first time this April, it was more than just something “you should do.” I truly felt I became a part of something bigger than me .
I’ve been keeping track of what President Obama has accomplished since 2008. Even though I was a couple years shy of my right to vote, I was excited about his vision for our country – and he’s followed through.
As an undergrad pursuing a major in political science and a possible graduate degree, it is critical that student loan rates remain manageable – and President Obama has fought for students like me. More importantly, I have the peace of mind that I can remain on my parent’s insurance until the age of 26 while I finish my education and seek out full-time employment – all thanks to Obamacare.
October 9th will be here before we know it – so register to vote if you haven't already.
