"I feel that civil discourse is crucial to our democracy, and it is a privilege to engage in it regarding the serious subjects of the day and concerning who should lead our country." – Virginia M. of Team Kentucky
Virginia lives with her husband in Jackson, a small town in Eastern Kentucky. She has been with the campaign since June of this year and also participated in the President’s 2008 campaign.
Virginia lives in a location that is far from ideal for canvassing or attending house parties, but yet her impact on the Obama 2012 campaign has been far from negligible. She leads weekly phonebanks and on the weekends she and her friends drive to Ironton, Ohio to canvass. She is making a huge impact in reelecting President Obama.
“I feel strongly that President Obama deserves another term and will lead our country as far as we are willing to support him. Getting this across to people is important.”
