Greater Together at the 80/35 Music Festival

This weekend 35,000 people attended the 80/35 Music Festival in the heart of downtown Des Moines. The festival hosted local bands such as Love Songs For Lonely Monsters, and the Seedlings plus national headliners The Avett Brothers, Atmosphere, Leftover Salmon, and Death Cab For Cutie. It was an event we couldn’t miss!

In addition to hearing some great music from our booth set up along Locust St, we also spent Friday and Saturday registering voters, signing up new volunteers, and getting supporters ready to vote early this fall. Young supporters from all across the state spoke loud and clear: President Obama is still the leader for our generation. Sign up to be a Young American for Obama and get exclusive updates and invites to concerts, BBQs, and happy hours in your area.

The very first ballots for President Obama’s second term will be cast right here in Iowa beginning September 27th. Show the President he can count on your vote and Pledge to Vote Early right now.
