Doris is as fired up as anyone in Auburndale to see President Obama re-elected.
Before moving to Florida to become a teacher, Doris lived in Massachusetts. That's where she experienced the damage that Romney Economics does to a community.
"Mitt Romney ran on a moderate platform, but I knew he was a wolf in sheep's clothing.
"Back then I worked at a career center that did skills training for mothers in need so they could find jobs. Our programs were cut after he became governor and it felt like a slap in the face. That's because his priority wasn't creating jobs and putting people to work in our community. Just look at how he outsourced our state jobs to other countries.
"When I heard Mitt Romney was running for president I thought to myself 'oh no not again.'
"I come from working class parents. I'm a first generation college graduate and I know the implications of what a good economy means for average people. That's why I'm voting for Barack Obama, because he gets it too.
"President Obama needs four more years to finish what he started, and he needs our help today.
