Comparing two economic recoveries in one chart

With 172,000 private sector jobs added in July, the U.S. economy has created a total of 4.5 million jobs over 29 consecutive months of job growth. While there is more to be done, President Obama’s policies are putting the economy back on the right track. In fact, Americans have seen 2.3 million more private sector jobs created in this economic recovery than during the equivalent period under President George W. Bush after the 2001 recession.

Take a look at this chart to see how the economic recoveries compare and why Mitt Romney’s desire to return to the failed policies of the past would take our economy off-course.
