Saturday marks 100 days until the election, and volunteers across Pennsylvania are gearing up for a weekend of action to show how committed they are to re-electing President Obama. Organizers talk a lot about the fierce urgency of now and the power of millions of individuals taking action. We know there’s nothing that we can do the day after the election to change its outcome, but every individual action we take in the next 100 days can and will make all the difference.
When we talk to supporters about voting, we ask them to walk us through their plan for Election Day, because we know that visualizing when and where they plan to vote increases their likelihood to actually make it to the polls.
Committing to volunteer is no different, so this weekend we’re asking volunteers to commit to 100 actions between now and November 6th to help re-elect the President. Whether that’s 100 phone calls every week, 100 new voters they will register, or 100 doors they plan to knock, the combined impact of these actions will ensure that President Obama can keep moving this country forward for another four years.
Take the first step by finding an event near you this weekend.
