This Wednesday, Pittsburgh will officially open the doors of its third campaign office. The celebration will start at 6:30 p.m. at 200 N. Highland Avenue. Be sure to RSVP, and don’t forget to bring your friends and family as well.
The office is located in the heart of East Liberty, which was once known as Pittsburgh’s second downtown. Members of the community still remember the campaign office located on Highland Avenue during the 2008 election. Since we’ve started to set up the new office, people have popped in and welcomed us like we’re old friends.
In this election, grassroots organizing is more important than ever. Romney allies and Republicans have been busy wooing wealthy donors for large checks — and we can't let them catch up on the ground. We're focusing on building the strongest grassroots organization politics has ever seen, because we know that's what it's going to take to compete with the other side's massive spending, plain and simple.
Our new office in East End is where you and your neighbors can come to help make that happen, so stop by on Wednesday to help kick it off right.
