Philadelphia resident and Army Veteran Elisa Basnight knows the stakes are high in the November election. Which is why she is doing everything she can to help re-elect the strongest leader for our country—President Obama.
To me, this election is not a race about who’s a nice guy, or any one single issue; this race is about leadership—leadership for future generations and the future of our country.
Since I’ve left active duty, I’ve attempted to make sure my actions match my words and to continue to serve the causes in which I believe, and one such passion is ensuring that this country remembers our nation’s veterans and making sure that we have leaders and policy-makers who support our veterans.
That’s why Elisa believes that electing President Obama in November is crucial for ensuring the continued support of our nation’s veterans.
We need to ensure President Barack Obama is provided the opportunity to finish carrying out his vision of building an America that is built to last, in which veterans and the military are a priority. With so much at stake, this means we need the right individual, with the right vision and the courage to keep up a good fight and to ensure the mission is accomplished. Leadership is not easy, and President Barack Obama is the right leader we need for veterans today and for another four years.
