Helping communities across Nevada, hearing the stories of our neighbors and friends inspires us to work for change and protect the progress that's been made more than we can ever express. In short, our volunteers are why we work as hard as we do.
Thank you to everyone who came out for our office openings and our open houses this week. We're taking politics out of it for the weekend to both celebrate your dedication and respect the tragedy in Colorado. As President Obama said on Friday:
"It’s what we do on a daily basis to give our lives meaning and to give our lives purpose. That’s what matters. At the end of the day, what we’ll remember will be those we loved and what we did for others. That’s why we’re here."
The OFA-Nevada accomplishments of the day will return to this space on Monday.
