In 2011, Zach Wahls made news around the world for his passionate defense of his parents as the Iowa House tried to reverse an Iowa Supreme Court decision that had legalized marriage equality.
This weekend we celebrate the end of Reno's annual Rainbow Fest and as we do we think of those like Zach, his parents, and all those who have the courage to stand for their convictions in front of the world. Earning an endorsement like this is something we consider quite the accomplishment. Watch:
