• Next week, it’s our turn.

Several democratic leaders visited Wisconsin on the road to Charlotte. Here are some choice quotes:

When pressed whether he would’ve signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, Romney refused to give a straight answer, failing to stand up for America’s women and their families. And, how does Ryan feels about the first bill President Obama signed into law. He voted against it.

Congressman Ryan and Mitt Romney never let the facts get in the way of a good narrative. And that certainly was the case tonight when Ryan blamed President Obama for a GM factory closing in Janesville, Wisconsin. The only problem? That factory closed BEFORE President Obama took office.

In naming Congressman Paul Ryan as his running mate, Mitt Romney has cemented his commitment to a theory that says you can give the wealthy budget-busting tax cuts and place greater burdens on the middle class and students, and somehow deliver a stronger economy as a result.

Well, guess what? We’ve already tried this theory, and it failed. We’ve proved over the last decade that top-down, trickle-down, upside-down – whatever you want to call it, it doesn’t work.

Next week, it's our turn. Attend a convention watch party in your area.
