• The Stakes Are Too High

Tomorrow, supporters like Susan in Colorado will hosting National Day of Action events in their communities as part of our largest push yet to grow this campaign and register new voters.

Susan is a team leader in her town, and an outstanding volunteer—she's always on hand to call supporters, register voters, or host a meeting. "The stakes are too high to leave this election to chance,” Susan says, so she’s doing everything she can to re-elect President Obama.

Susan first started organizing for our movement during the 2010 campaign. She intended to volunteer for a local candidate, but after she got an e-mail from Organizing for America about a strategy session at a local church and decided to give it a try, she realized quickly that it would be a great way to get involved:

“I was so impressed with the organization,” she says. “I thought, 'These people have their act together. This is who I want to work with.'

She got hooked, and has been working tirelessly to support the President in her community ever since.

She'll also be one of thousands of volunteers taking part in Day of Action events all around the country tomorrow. We'll be registering new voters and finding more folks who are ready to start organizing.
