• Spreading the word to #GetCovered in 2014

It's last call, and the final push for enrollment is under way.

Thanks to the Affordable Care Act, health insurance has never been more affordable and accessible. But the deadline to enroll for coverage that starts this year is March 31st, and that's why OFA volunteers took to the streets this week with one mission: get the information out to people in their communities about getting covered.

Check out some of the great work from Tuesday:

Columbus, OhioThe sun was shining on volunteers in Columbus as they passed out more than 500 flyers. Volunteers Tim and Mark, pictured above, shared their story of signing up for coverage and saving $30,000 a year.

Chicago, IllinoisBill had a heart attack and stroke, which led to the loss of his eyesight. Soon afterwards, he lost his job and the health insurance benefits that came with it. Now, he's covered again, and helping spread the word about affordable care.

Grand Rapids, MichiganOrganizers gathered around Grand Rapids Community College and talked to community members about why it's important to get covered before March 31st. Above, OFA volunteer Kim is doing her part to help spread the word.

Knoxville, TennesseeMayor Madeline Rogero attended a health care information event in Knoxville, and the media took notice. During the event, Rogero spoke about the importance of enrolling by the March 31st deadline.

Brooklyn, New YorkOFA Deputy State Coordinator Jamie Abelson and Spring Trainer Randy Yang were invited to Wykoff Hospital to debunk myths and talk facts about the Affordable Care Act.
