• A day of service

For OFA volunteers, Monday wasn't just a holiday.

Looking for your daily inspiration? Here it is. This Martin Luther King Day OFA volunteers across the country spent the day giving back to their communities. They painted murals in parks, served hot meals to those in need, helped out at local schools, and so much more. Take a look at how OFA gave back.

Indianapolis, Indiana—Last week, the OFA-Indiana family lost one of its beloved founding members, Miss Terry Nelson. On Monday, the Indianapolis OFA chapter participated in service projects at the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis campus in Miss Terry's honor.

Miami, Florida—OFA-FL partnered with Unite4Good and Urgent Inc. for a Community Paint Day. Artists worked with children, their families, and hundreds of volunteers painting murals to revitalize Overtown and the historic Dorsey Park.

Minneapolis, Minnesota—Volunteers served meals at the Salvation Army.

Newark, New Jersey—OFA volunteers canvassed to teach their community about fire safety.

Nogales, Arizona—Volunteers joined by local Girl Scouts spent the day cleaning up historic areas in Nogales.

New York, New York—Volunteers helped “City Meals on Wheels” and distributed 163 boxes of ready-to-make food to those in need.
