Fall is officially here and that means cooler weather, crisp mornings and shorter days. It also means we are that much closer to the 2012 elections. Across Missouri, Obama supporters are answering the call to organize. Veterans and novices alike are joining together to form strong neighborhood teams, creating a grassroots network across Missouri to support President Obama’s 2012 Campaign.
Neighborhood teams are focusing on contacting past volunteers, letting them know that the President is asking for their renewed commitment. OFA-Missouri staff and volunteers like Gabrielle in Kansas City, David in Grandview, Sophie in St. Louis, Carl in University City, or Patricia in Florissant have answered the call and are hosting upcoming events in their communities.

Whether you are a seasoned OFA volunteer or new to grassroots organizing, joining a neighborhood team is an exciting and rewarding experience. So if you’ve been thinking about getting involved, now is the time. Join with old and new friends as we lay the groundwork that will turn Missouri blue in November 2012.
