    Volunteers mark historic day by spreading the good news about Obamacare

    On Tuesday, October 1st, Organizing for Action volunteers kicked off the opening of the new health insurance marketplace with action events across the country to help get the facts out about Obamacare in their communities.

    Atlanta, Georgia—OFA-GA volunteers listened to speakers, including Georgia Minority House Leader Rep. Stacey Abrams pictured here, on the steps of the State Capitol.

    Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania—OFA-PA volunteers celebrated with birthday cake and distributed flyers and fact sheets.

    Green Bay, Wisconsin—OFA-WI volunteers got together for training on Obamacare, and how to help their community get the facts and get enrolled.

    Midlothian, Virginia—Volunteers from the local chapter of OFA-VA marked Tuesday with a training on the ways to help Americans find coverage during the six-month open enrollment period.

    Nashville, Tennesse—OFA-TN volunteers and Obamacare supporters celebrated the opening of the health insurance marketplace and planned for the work ahead.

    Cleveland, Ohio—OFA-OH volunteers got out the facts and got involved.
