The New Hampshire primary is less than five weeks away. Between now and then, we're going to do everything we can to build our local organization and make sure Granite Staters vote in the primary to show their support for the President. And while the path to 270 most definitely runs through the New Hampshire primary, we’re also looking ahead to the rest of 2012. That is why we are asking you to get involved as a New Hampshire delegate to the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte in September.
In 2008, people from all walks of life got involved in the political process for the first time. From high schoolers to retired service members, young and old, delegates showed how the Obama campaign belonged to the grassroots. We want to continue that tradition in 2012.
Qualifications to run for District-Level Delegate:
If you are 18 or Older:
• Be a registered New Hampshire voter in the congressional district you vote in.
• Vote for the Democratic candidate you pledged to support in the New Hampshire Presidential Primary on January 10th, 2012.
If you are under 18:
• You can still run for delegate as long as you will be 18 by November 6th, 2012.
Submit a signed pledge card of support for Barack Obama to the state party. You can find more information at nhdp.org.
We're not waiting to build this campaign. Register to run to be a convention delegate and say you'll be a part of this work.
