Llewelyn S., an 83-year-old civil rights organizer, still lives in the same New Orleans neighborhood that he grew up in. He’s a mainstay of New Orleans, and he’s “In” for 2012.

Llewelyn worked very hard as a civil rights organizer in the 70s, and today continues to be an active member of the New Orleans community.

“I never dreamed that I would be alive to see the day that a black man could be elected as the president of the United States,” says Llewelyn, “but we did. Oh, yes, we did.”

A former volunteer in 2008, Llewelyn is ready to keep up the the fight and embark on a new part of his journey -- the 2012 campaign.

“I’m ready to work harder to make sure President Obama can keep up the good work,” says Llewelyn. “I am already out in the community talking to people about 2012.”

“I am so proud to call Barack Obama the President of the United States, and I will make sure that I can continue to do so for the next term.”
