Montana State Director Judith H. welcomes core team members to the new headquarters in Bozeman over the weekend.
Montana core team members had a big weekend in Bozeman, ramping up efforts to re-elect President Obama. Saturday brought people from as far as Missoula and Helena to the Bozeman Library for a neighborhood team convention. Participants spent the day learning the foundations of modern grassroots campaigning: messaging, persuasion, branding and digital, data entry and events. Then on Monday, Bozeman's neighborhood team began applying what they learned in a meeting at their new building on East Babcock. There, they discussed and began planning specific efforts to staff upcoming events, coordinate up to eight phone banks each week, sell Obama campaign gear and more.
Immediately after their meeting, the Bozeman team hosted a community event which gathered new volunteers and motivated existing volunteers.
