I wanted to get involved with Organizing for America because I could not in good conscience continue to passively watch the news and simply hope that President Obama would be reelected. I wanted to channel my passion and love for this country into action that would engage others and ultimately turn Tucson and Arizona blue!
Organizing has been an incredibly fulfilling experience. My favorite memory so far has to be helping a young man in high school register to vote for the very first time. He was so excited and couldn’t wait to get involved in the political process. From registering voters to the enthusiasm of volunteers during a canvass, organizing has provided an opportunity for me to meet others with a deep devotion to doing what’s the best for Arizona and the country.
Get inspired and get involved; join me and the rest of the Spring Organizing Fellows here.
