In March, Mitt Romney endorsed the Republican budget that would cut funding for K-12 education, student loans, Pell Grants, and much, much more, calling it “an excellent piece of work.” Two days ago, Mitt Romney doubled down by selecting Congressman Paul Ryan, the mastermind behind that budget, as his running mate. Here’s how the Romney-Ryan plan would affect us:

Cuts Pell Grants for almost 10 million students.

Cuts 200,000 children from Head Start in 2014 alone, and roughly two million over the next decade.

Reduces clean energy programs, investments in science, technology, and medical research.

For students, voting in this election just got more important. Don’t wait any longer—get registered today.
