President Obama and Vice President Biden in Dayton, Ohio

Following a special visit today from both President Obama and Vice President Biden, supporters in Dayton shared why they’re voting early for Team Obama-Biden.

    WayneWayne, a steelworker for Obama:

“I've been working as a steelworker since 1995, and I support President Obama because he supports the middle class, working men and women. His rescue of the auto industry was huge.

“I wanted to make sure my vote was in. My 84-year-old mother lives with us, and so does my father-in-law. My wife can't move around too well either, so we all got absentee ballots and filled them out together, and I took them down to the Board of Elections. I’m encouraging all of my friends to vote early.”

    KimKim, retired:

“I love Obamacare because it's done so much for so many people. Overall, I support President Obama because I believe in him and in a level playing field. I'm wearing this #ForAll sticker because he really is a president working for all Americans. Mitt Romney's comments about the 47% are egregious, but I think they're very telling—I think that's what he really believes.

“I haven't voted yet, but I'm going to vote in person at the Board of Elections soon. I've never missed an election, but I always worry about what'll happen on Election Day. What if I'm sick, or my car won't start? I don't want to take the chance, so I take full advantage of early voting.”

BiancaBianca, a student at the University of Dayton:

“As a college student, President Obama has done a lot to help me. I go to school on Pell Grants and that's huge for me. Romney wants to cut financial aid, and that's money we need.

“I encourage all of my friends to vote early, because you won't have to stress about work or your class schedule—you get to make it work around your schedule. And if you vote early, you can volunteer on November 6th!”
