“If you make more than a million dollars a year, you should pay at least the same percentage of your income in taxes as middle-class families do.”

In his weekly address on Saturday, President Obama gave a detailed explanation of the Buffett Rule, a measure that would require millionaires to pay their fair share in taxes.

As Congress prepares to vote on the bill in the next few weeks, now is the time to make your voice heard. If you agree with the President that it’s just common sense that a billionaire shouldn’t pay a lower tax rate than his secretary, here’s what you can do:

    1. Call (312) 985-6433 and listen for the instructions.

    2. Leave a brief message saying: “I support the Buffett Rule because … ”

So why are you on board for the Buffett Rule? Watch the President’s message and share why you’re standing with him to get this done.
