Kay, a student organizer in New Hampshire“As a college student I depend pretty heavily on grants and loans to pay for school. I want this education so badly and I believe that everybody should be able to have this chance. It shouldn't come with crushing debt. President Obama believes it too, and that's so, so important. Without federal financial aid and Pell Grants, I wouldn’t be anywhere close to where I am today, and I know that I'm not alone.

"President Obama's program to manage student debt made it so my loan payments won’t be greater than what I'm actually earning when I'm done with school. That's a big, big deal. It wasn't like that before President Obama made a point to fix it.

"Mitt Romney literally told students to 'shop around,' and to borrow money from your parents if you have to. What is he talking about? Is everyone who goes to college supposed to have parents with unlimited funds? We all need to be able to pay for an education—all of us.

"I just can't imagine voting for someone who does not have my best interest at heart. That's why I can't vote for Romney. That's why I'm voting for the President.

"It’s important to me that I'm out here telling other students about the kind of impact we can have on this election. It matters so, so much for all of us, and it's so exciting to show people so they can make sure their voices are heard. All of us have to commit to vote, but we also have to make sure we get someone else to commit to vote, too. We're not just voting for a president here. We're voting for our right to have a future.”
