Nancy, a volunteer in the Los Angeles office, celebrated the Affordable Care Act today on the steps of the Supreme Court in DC.
Along with thousands of California Organizing for America volunteers, Nancy worked hard to help President Obama pass Obamacare in 2009 and 2010.
The Supreme Court's decision to uphold the Affordable Care Act validates this critical step forward for our country, as well as all of our hard work to elect and now to re-elect President Obama.
Take a moment today to celebrate, and keep this in mind every day between now and election day. We need you to step up your volunteer efforts, to reach out to voters and tell them what the Affordable Care Act means to all of us. And we need you to recruit your friends and family to join you. This is what we're here for.
The road ahead is still long, but it’s moments like these that help fuel our commitment to move this country forward.
