    Vote early

Folks across the country have already gone to the polls to make sure their voices are heard in this election. Find out why these supporters voted early, then make a plan to cast your ballot.

"I voted early last week in North Carolina. The lines at the polling place were long, but moving efficiently. I was amazed at the diversity of the crowd. There were African Americans and young folks, vets and working folks. There was a little lady behind me on her cell phone calling all her friends urging them to vote. The mood was purposeful and I felt very encouraged!"
    —Phillip, North Carolina

"I voted for President Obama because I believe in him today just as I did four years ago. I’ve watched him fight for our country, stand by the middle class, the working class, the military, the education of our children, universal health care, women, the environment, and matters of national and domestic security. I think he has done an amazing job. Our country is recovering due to his perseverance and diligence."
    —Susan, Virginia

"I cast my first ballot for President Truman in 1948. I've witnessed a lot of presidents in my life, but President Obama is the best. My husband and I are avid fans. As soon as we got our ballots, we voted and sent them in. My husband and I not only think President Obama is a great president, but that he is a good man. He is interested in everybody, and he wants to do the right thing. I haven’t missed an election since I began voting, and I strongly encourage my family to vote in every election, too. My daughter in Florida has voted for Obama, and my son here in Colorado has, too. I trained them well."
    —Lois, Colorado
