A new program sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is making the transition between military service and home easier for veterans and service members. Operation Boots to Business: From Service to Startup provides service members and veterans the means to become entrepreneurs, giving them the tools, training, and resources necessary to succeed in the small business sector.

By increasing access to capital, counseling, and federal contracts, this program is making it possible for veterans interested in owning a small business to make their dreams become a reality. Not only is this program giving back to servicemen and women by increasing business ownership, but it’s also providing jobs for everyday citizens and contributing to a stronger economy here at home. Operation Boots to Business is just one of the many ways in which President Obama has reaffirmed his commitment to veterans and military families.

If you want to continue the great strides that President Obama has made towards improving the lives of veterans and military families, join Veterans and Military Families for Obama today.
