Sheilah, a part-time student and part-time cook in Virginia, has seen the positive impact of President Obama’s policies on her health care and her student loans.

“Affordable health care is an issue for me. Where I work, we don’t have health care. It’s not an option, so if I get sick, I have a bill. But President Obama has fought a hard fight with health care reform, and I think he’s done a great job. I’m a student, too, and I have student loans. The student loan interest rates haven’t gone up, and I appreciate that because I need that money.”

No matter how small, Sheilah knows know important her donation to the campaign is:

“I donated a very little amount because I’m on a tight budget, but if you can help out, help out. Every dime counts, every dollar counts. The campaign is going to use it, and it makes me feel so good to know that I’ve done what I can.

“I’m happy to see President Obama in office. I hope he can stay there for another four years.”

    —Sheilah, Virginia
