Here in Iowa, we have a lot to be proud of. We are proud to be one of the few states that celebrates same-sex marriage, we are proud to have a President who has repealed "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," spoken out in favor of gay marriage and refused to defend discriminatory laws like the Defense of Marriage Act. We are proud to be Iowans, and there is no better way to show that than with a parade.

Check out the best photos from the event.
