President Obama Hosts Third Annual White House Easter Prayer Breakfast

President Obama hosted over a hundred Christian leaders from across the country for the Third Annual White House Easter Prayer Breakfast on Wednesday, April 4. When he started the new April 4 tradition, President Obama became the first president to host an event specifically with Christian leaders to celebrate the most important Christian holiday. The breakfast featured a program that included Washington D.C.'s Mount Zion Baptist Children's Choir, Dove Award-Nominee Sara Groves, Rev. Peg Chemberlin, Past President of the National Council of Churches, Rev. Cynthia Hale, Pastor of Ray of Hope Christian Church in Atlanta, GA, Pastor Louie Giglio of Passion City Church in Atlanta, GA, Cardinal Donald Wuerl, the Archbishop of Washington, and Joel Hunter, Pastor of Northland, A Church Distributed, in Orlando, FL.
