    Pam and Gail

Pam and Gail have been small business owners since 1980, when they opened their first restaurant, Pamela’s P&G Diner, in Pittsburgh. Since then, they’ve expanded to eight restaurants and over 150 employees—all while maintaining their commitment to providing employees with health insurance. Pam and Gail believe they finally have an advocate for small businesses in the White House:

“We’ve seen presidents come and go, but nothing changed until Barack Obama came in and passed the Affordable Care Act. The fact that health insurance companies can no longer deny people who have pre-existing conditions is a big deal to us. It gives us piece of mind to know that we’ll be able to cover all of our employees.

“The President’s personal story is all about coming from very little, making it, and continuing to pay it forward so that others succeed as well. That’s exactly what we believe in, too. President Obama inspires us to keep going and make a difference as responsible business owners.”

President Obama has consistently fought for small businesses—he knows it's entrepreneurs like Pam and Gail that create jobs in our communities. Stand with Pam and Gail today, and join Small Business Owners for Obama.
