Last weekend, volunteers from Kansas travelled to Council Bluffs, Iowa to help with a voter registration canvass. They braved the warm weather to register lots of new voters. We had a great time getting to know the Obama for America – Iowa team and we were excited to see that Iowans are just as excited as we are to re-elect President Obama!

The great thing about grassroots organizing is that it gives you the opportunity to go door to door and meet of a lot of great people, as we did in Council Bluffs last weekend. It was easy to see how every vote matters and how one person can make a difference one door knock at a time. You can be a part of that by joining your neighborhood team here in Kansas or by joining us on our next canvassing trip to Iowa. Thanks to everyone in Iowa for having us and we will see you soon!
