For my entire life, while my dad cleaned hospitals, my mom has worked at a small manufacturing company in New Jersey. She wakes up at 4:30 a.m., goes to work, and comes home each day to the Bronx. Her experience supporting our family has shown me how small businesses can create opportunities, define culture, and build community.
President Obama understands how important small business owners are—and that they’re responsible for two out of every three new jobs in the United States. The President made supporting small businesses a priority, signing 18 tax cuts for small businesses and supporting more than $12 billion in small business lending through the Small Business Jobs Act.
Now, he needs our help.
On the other side, Mitt Romney doesn't get it. He's promising to repeal the Affordable Care Act on his first day in office, stripping small businesses of tax incentives to offer health care to their workers.
Small businesses and the families they support cannot afford a Romney presidency. If he's elected, our companies—and our communities—will suffer.
We have less than four months to make a difference in this election.
Step up today and get involved. Join Small Business Owners for Obama, or invite any small business owners you know to do the same.
