“Financial aid is the only reason I am able to be a college student. I'm really fortunate to live in a county where the community college is ranked at a university level. Because of financial aid and Pell Grants, I can worry about my studies—not about my family’s financial situation. Next spring, I will be a graduate with an associate’s degree in biological sciences.”

    —Jacquie, Pennsylvania
