This past weekend, President Barack Obama joined Iowans in both Des Moines and Sioux City to kickoff his "Road to Charlotte" tour.

“There was a reason for me to begin the journey (to Charlotte) right here in Iowa, where it first began more than four years ago,”

During both events, the President stressed the importance of Iowans being the first to vote in the country, when early voting begins on September 27th.

"Iowans, you can be among the first in the country to vote beginning on September 27th when early voting begins...I'm counting on you and I need your help!"
