Volunteers all over the nation, like this group of supporters from the Chicago chapter of the Human Rights Campaign, are dedicating their time to re-elect the President by making grassroots fundraising calls to the community.

    Grassroots fundraisers

This campaign belongs to the millions of Americans who know our nation prospers when we’re all in it together. That’s why we’re pairing grassroots fundraising with our grassroots organizing to protect the progress the LGBT community has made with the Obama administration. Join the thousands of supporters who are already taking ownership of the President’s campaign by starting a grassroots fundraising page and asking your friends and family to donate today.

As a 2012 grassroots fundraiser, you’ll share your story, set a goal, reach out to friends, and get credit for every dollar you raise. It’s not easy asking folks to invest, but people are more likely to give $5 or $10 if a friend or family member gives them a good reason. Our community has important facts to share about the President’s record on LGBT equality as you make your pitch.

If you haven’t started your grassroots fundraising page yet, sign up today!
