In basketball, getting ready for the big game takes years of hard work on the court and in the weight room. But getting ready to vote? Now that's easy -- and this year it's more important than I can ever remember.

So much is on the line this election -- from accessible health care to good, affordable education -- and it's up to us to deliver the win for President Obama.

Will you ask your friends to register to vote today?

If there's one thing I learned on the court, it's that people can always achieve more when they're working together as one team. That's the vision President Obama has for our country -- and that's why it's so important for us to vote in this election. I couldn't be prouder to have a president who stands up for the middle class and provides a good role model for our community. It doesn't hurt that he knows how to make a jump shot, too.

So I'm going to tell you the same thing I always tell younger players: Make sure you're ready for game day.

Get your friends to register to vote now: https://my.barackobama.com/Game-Day-Registration

It's game time. Let's go win this thing.

    Magic
