This election is a choice between two fundamentally different views for the future. President Obama’s plan is to keep moving America forward, and he will continue to be an advocate and ally on issues important to the American Jewish community. Here’s how:

  • 1. President Obama has a long-term economic plan to invest in education, small businesses, clean energy, infrastructure, and tax cuts for companies that bring jobs back to the U.S.
  • Mitt Romney’s plan would add $5 trillion in tax cuts skewed to the rich, either increasing the deficit or requiring tax increases on the middle-class.

  • 2. President Obama has consistently stood up for our friend and ally Israel -- with record security assistance, by standing up for Israel at the United Nations, and by making it clear that all options are on the table to prevent a nuclear-armed Iran.
  • Mitt Romney said he would "do the opposite" of President Obama when it comes to Israel.

  • 3. 100 million Americans saw lifetime caps on coverage lifted, so that families have the security of knowing that their insurance will cover them when they need it most.
  • Mitt Romney would go back to the days when more than half of all insurance plans included lifetime limits on the care they would cover.

  • 4. President Obama improved Medicare by adding free preventive care, is closing the “doughnut hole” and already saved seniors an average of $600 last year, and extended the life of Medicare by eight years by eliminating $716 billion in waste, fraud, and abuse.
  • Mitt Romney would end Medicare as we know it, eliminating guaranteed benefits and turning Medicare into a voucher program — which could increase costs for seniors more than $6,000 each year by shifting costs to seniors.
