Florida celebrated some major milestones last weekend during the Multiply Your Voice Day of Action.

Our movement grew in big ways with the grand opening of the 100th field office in Florida, more than 1,000 grassroots events statewide, and 10,000 voters getting registered.

Chelsea in Land O' Lakes was part of the action.

"It was great. Volunteers met up at our local library, received voter registration training, and then canvassed all over the North Tampa area, going directly to voters to make sure they were registered to vote so that their voices would be heard come November.

"With just over 5 weeks until the election, people are starting to see that they really need to get involved — that the time to volunteer is now.

"Our volunteers loved the experience. They felt like they were really contributing to the campaign, and most of them are coming back to volunteer next weekend.

Grassroots volunteers have always been at the heart of our organizing strategy. Even if you couldn't make it last weekend, you can take the next step today — sign up to volunteer in your area.
