With June and Pride Month kicking off, Audrey in Jacksonville shared why she supports the President.

The progress on LGBT issues that has happened speaks magnitudes about President Obama's leadership.

Everything he has done from repealing Don't Ask Don't Tell, to opposing the Defense of Marriage Act has been huge. When I heard him say 'same-sex couples should be able to get married' it brought tears to my eyes.

To me, that makes him one of the bravest Presidents we've ever had.

Gay marriage is a touchy subject but he knows everyone deserves the same rights. He fights for minorities, women, Young Americans—that means so much to me. That's why I support President Obama.

In 2008 I was a supporter, but until someone called me I didn't even know there were opportunities to get involved. This time around I'm doing everything I can to make sure people in my community know they can make a difference. This election means too much for anyone to sit it out.
