A classical pianist by training, Evelyn was never political until 2008. After being frustrated by politics in the past, she decided that it was no longer enough to get angry—she had to do something.

Evelyn volunteered for the President in ’08, and continues to organize weekly phone banks at the campaign’s headquarters and helps register voters across the city. She spends Saturday mornings in Union Square with fellow Obama supporters, giving out information, talking with voters, and asking folks to get involved.

Want to join Evelyn and other volunteers like her for an upcoming event in New York City? Check out events here and RSVP to get involved.
