“President Obama genuinely represents the middle class in America, and that’s what we need right now. I’ve seen in my life that when the middle class prospers, everyone does. President Obama understands that and he’s acted accordingly. Because of what he’s done, my taxes have stayed down and he’s trying to keep them that way, while Mitt Romney seems to be bent on raising them so people like him can get another tax break.

“The President understands that the engine of job creation is the middle class—the small businesses, contractors, plumbers, stores you pass by on Main Street. And if we don’t start pushing more legislation to help them, our middle class will fall apart and things won’t get better for anyone. That’s why we need four more years for President Obama. Here in New Hampshire there’s so much we can do. Our water systems are broken, our grids are messed up, and our roads are crumbling—let’s put some people to work to fix that! President Obama has proposed great legislation to improve our infrastructure, but Republicans keep blocking him.

“Look, things are still tough. You can’t turn around an aircraft carrier in ten feet, and you definitely can’t get out of this catastrophe with a magic fix. But President Obama has the right vision for this country, and knows how to put good jobs back in the middle class and keep us moving forward. That’s what’s important.”
