“North Carolina means the world to me, and I know we have a lot at stake this time around. Being in education, I’ve worked with a lot of kids from disadvantaged backgrounds. Being in a position where I can support a candidate who cares about student loans and making sure college is affordable to everyone—how could I say no to something like that? I feel like I’m in the right place, at the right time, and I’m just trying to make the right moves so we keep the right man in office.”
