Last weekend OFA DC took a trip to Clarendon to help out our friends in Virginia. On what turned out to be a terrific Saturday afternoon volunteers registered voters and got the word out about the President’s record.

Noah D., a resident of the Dupont Circle area, spoke about the significance of the event:

“Virginia is extremely important to the general election. I feel passionately that President Obama will continue to make America better. We all have to help out on days like this to make that possible.”

Ellen C., a Core Team Member in Washington D.C.’s 3rd Ward, echoed Noah’s sentiments:

“It’s important to raise visibility and stress the importance of participation—every vote counts!”

To meet volunteers like Ellen and Noah and find out how you can get involved come out to a future event. A full list can be found at dc.barackobama.com.
